Day 55: Okefenokee Swamp and St. Augustine

First stop of the day was Okefenokee Swamp Park. The boat tour and learning the history was really neat, but it was clear I was there in the off season. Not too many gators and a pretty small park, but still a fun experience. I would say probably not worth going to unless you happen to be in the area.

I then headed to the oldest city in the country, St. Augustine. They had a really cool Spanish fort and it was really interesting to see the differences between the previous American forts I had seen and this Spanish made one. I also stopped at the Pirate Museum before finally saying goodbye to the Atlantic and headed west.
