Days 47-48: New Jersey and Delaware

Day 47: This was my last morning in Smethport, so Holly made me an awesome final breakfast. I then spent the rest of the day driving all the way to the tip of New Jersey. When I arrived, I noticed my hotel was across the street from a movie theater, so I took it as a sign and saw the new Thor movie. Funniest Marvel movie yet.

Day 48: I started the morning in Cape May, New Jersey, which is a beautiful location. I checked out the local beach and lighthouse and drove around looking at the really cool looking houses. I bet this place is really popular in the summer.

I then headed to the New Castle Historic district in Delaware. So many of the houses were now museums, so I stopped at a random one and took it a tour. It was the house of George Read who was important for both the Declaration of Independence and the Revolutionary War itself. It was also located right next to a famous alley where apparently pretty much everyone famous at the time traveled through at some point.
