Day 7: Yellowstone and Grand Tetons

I definitely felt recharged after taking an afternoon off and was ready to see Yellowstone. Yellowstone is beautiful and terrible, with so many boiling hot springs. I was lucky enough to see the Big Fountain Geyser erupt just as I arrived at it, and I was able to eat my lunch sitting on a bench watching Old Faithful erupt.

After lunch I traveled down to the Grand Tetons and they are a very impressive mountain range. Extremely beautiful.

That night, I had originally planned camping at Yellowstone, but the temperatures were dropping down to the low 20s, which is a little out of my comfort zone. I got lucky and there was a last minute cancellation at one of the small cabins next to old faithful. It made for a great stay in the park.
